Cut resistant knit reduces the risk of cut considerably, but it is not cut proof. It is designed not to tear or unravel, but reduces greatly serious injuries. Tuff-n-Lite® is created by a unique, multi-patented process that combines natural and synthetic fibers for almost unimaginable strength. It can be made cut resistant, slash resistant, tear resistant, abrasion resistant, flame resistant and chemical resistant. Micro-Texpur® microbial and antibacterial protection destroys 99,99% of the bacteria without toxic or harmful chemicals. Ecological Micro-Texpur® is effective throughout the guard’s life span eliminating also bacteria causing odors. It destroys even superbugs such as MRSA, that frequently shows up in sports equipment. This guard do not change color under light and can be washed like a regular garment. Guards are not uncomfortable or hot, do not retain moisture or degrade the cut level with sweat or washing. Pro Goalie cut resistant sock has ASTM Cut Level 3. In addition to ice sports Tuff-n-Lite® products are used by law enforcement, military and safety industry.
